How to remain anonymous when using the Huffington Post.

HuffPo have rectified the security problem where it was possible to use any email address to setup a HuffPo account. In order to use HuffPo anonynously you must now use a Yahoo email address.

You need  a FireFox web browser & Tor anonymiser, both are quick and easy to install and can be disabled or uninstalled.


1. Open FireFox.
2. Check Tor is Enabled(bottom right Firefox) > Tor Enabled(Green).
3. Create a NEW Yahoo email account.
4. Log on to Huffpo.
5.  Choose "More Login Options" then "Yahoo Account".
6. Congratulations you are now logged on anonymously at HuffPo. 


If your Yahoo email account stops working at HuffPo then;

1. Close FireFox.
2. Open Tor  and select "Use a New Identity".
3. Open FireFox.
4. Check Tor is Enabled(bottom right Firefox) > Tor Enabled(Green).
5. Create a NEW Yahoo email account.
6. Log on to Huffpo.
7.  Choose "More Login Options" then "Yahoo Account".
8. Congratulations you are now logged on anonymously at HuffPo.

If you do it right and make sure Tor is running AND open and close Firefox with no other web sites open, THEN not even law enforcement should be able to trace you. The Tor software is very good and used by journalists when in countries like China. BUT you would be a fool to take any risk if you couldn't check yourself(use wireshark to be packet level sure). You would also be a fool if you did anything illegal when there is so much fun to be had  using the pen, or today's keyboard, and not the sword. As long as you don't break anything and just stick to words of protest then nobody should be looking for you.

How to git rid of adverts and stop snooping while speeding things up.

You will need to use FireFox as your browser, addblock plus to block the adds and NoScript to stop the snooping.

Once installed click on the NoScript icon at the bottom right of firefox, and;

Simple as that and you get the satisfaction of knowing that corporations wont be snooping on your habits without your permission. HuffPo allows 9(NINE) other websites to run scripts on your computer when you use their site. Installing NoScript only allows HuffPo to run scripts on your computer.

How to choose which country your comments are sent from.

You need to be connected using an anonymiser. Read  "How to remain anonymous when using the Huffington Post." before proceeding.


Before you leave a comment, if you load up Google along with HuffPo, whatever language Google is in will likely be the country your comments will come from .



If you then go to Tor and select "New Identity", Then return to Google refresh and see what language it is in. You can repeat this until you get a connection you prefer

How to make the censor bot ignore a word.

If you want to stop the censor bot from checking a word in your comments then use an underscore before the word. The bot ignores the next character(s) until a space is reached.

The most common words checked are verbs of violence.

E.g.

_kill
_murder
